About Me
With a lifelong compulsive reading habit, two English Lit degrees, and many years of tech writing and editing in my background, I turned to book coaching as a potential new career and fell in love with it.
My kids (in photo, having “book club” on the rock in our front yard many years ago) can tell you that I read everything: books, magazines, cereal boxes, refrigerator magnets. Reading is still what I enjoy doing most. Some of my favorite books include The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald, The Opposite of Fate by Amy Tan, Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, and the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde.
Now, as a seasoned book coach and an Author Accelerator founding coach, I know what makes a great story. I also know, as a former working mom, some of the difficulties involved in trying to write one.
Note: As an Author Accelerated-certified book coach, I am qualified to coach writers using Author Accelerator’s strategy, methods, and materials, but I operate independently of Author Accelerator.

Do you have a story you want to share?
I can help you write that story, especially if you are a newer writer or writing in English as a non-native language. I have a wealth of experience in writing and editing from the high-tech world, where I also mentored junior writers, and from coaching writers in the genres of:
general fiction
suspense
women’s fiction
historical fiction
memoir
nonfiction
Let's work together!
Either of my coaching packages will get your book on the right track so you can write forward or revise with confidence.
See which one best suits you.
