Inside Outline and Outcome Outline
Using a proven method developed by Jennie Nash, co-founder of Author Accelerator, the Inside Outline and Outcome Outline coaching programs have a common goal: To help writers get to "the end" faster, with a book that is solid from beginning to end.
Each program uses 4 deadlines to create and develop an outline for the entire book. The outlines are simple and easy to use, and can be updated and referred to during the entire writing process. During the course of the program, we work together to come up with a plan for your book, and with each deadline you receive constructive feedback from me.
These short-term programs are great for writers who:
want to take the time to do foundational work for their book before they start writing
want to try out coaching but aren’t ready for a big commitment of time or money
Along with the outline, writers also create a One-Page Book Summary, which helps define the structure and other elements of the book. This summary is another tool that can be used as a reference during the writing process.
The cost of each Outline program is $600 USD, which includes the 4 deadlines and a 30-minute follow-up call to discuss your progress and possible next steps.
Inside Outline
The Inside Outline program is for writers of fiction, memoir, and narrative nonfiction. Every type of fiction can use the outline effectively.
The outline itself is a list of important scenes for your story. As you work on the outline, you’ll learn how to weave the physical action of each scene (what happens) with the emotional point of each scene (why it matters). These scenes then become the backbone of your story, to which you will add more depth and complexity.
At the end of this coaching program, your outline will be a roadmap for the entire story and a “living” container for any developments and changes.

Outcome Outline
The Outcome Outline program is for writers of prescriptive nonfiction, such as self-help and how-to guides and academic texts.
The outline itself is a list of the points or arguments for your book and the takeaways (outcomes) that you want your readers to discern from reading the book. As you work on the outline, you’ll learn how to weave together these points and takeaways in a way that will be compelling to your readers.
At the end of this coaching program, your outline will contain the most important elements of your book and will have helped solve any problems before you write more.
